Christmas is down. I love how it makes the house look bigger.

school is almost out

3 more days then we can all sleep in. I love winter break.

cookies

I love Christmas cookies. The short bread ones are my fav this year. I love them with a chocolate on top, delish and me waist band will show for it.

watching movies

we watched movies most of the weekend as a family. it was fun to all be on the couch together and be all wrapped up in our blankets cozy and warm. nothing like family time.

the dinner

Thanksgiving is my favorite dinner of the year. It was super yummy this year and we have lots of yummy left overs. Gotta love that turkey.

the work is done

I am so happy that all the work is done on prop 8. Now we wait to see if our hard work payed off.

candy and such

i love candy. i am happy that halloween is done. now it is on to my fav dinner, thanksgiving.

I loved this movie

This was a great movie to go and see with my daughter. We both loved it and had a great time together.

Happy that things seem to be looking up. Maybe some answers to some long prayers.

wrapping

I love wrapping Christmas presents it makes me so happy. In 3 short months Christmas will be here. This year has gone by way to fast. I need to stop and smell the roses.

I wanted to go upstairs and fold the laundry, Brandon came and sat by me to watch a TV show. Instead of leaving to fold laundry I put my arm around him and spent some time with my son.
I am trying to do what is important. Before I know it Brandon will me grown and no want to sit by me. Today was a nice moment.

thankful

I am thankful for family visits and quality time spent together. I am so happy that today is Friday and that we can sleep in. I am hoping for rain. It would be nice to stay home and watch conference in my PJ's.

happy to have a home

just happy to have a home and the things that we need. our world is changing so fast. i am just thankful.

Just a few more days until school starts. I am so happy. I think the kids need to get back to the day to day structure. Maybe Benny will be happier.

I have been making cards, it is my self therapy. It makes my calm when the kids are driving me bonkers.

They grey skies from the fires is finally dissipating. Our beautiful blue skies are finally coming back. That makes me feel so much better.

I am thankful for the little blessings that my Heavenly Father gives to me. In that hour of need he came through for me and things are on the mend. I have a long way to go but I am headed in the right direction. I need to remember to pace myself and to be patient.

I am looking forward to Mother's Day. This may sound selfish but I need a day all about me.

The kids are in bed and the house is somewhat quiet. The wind is really blowing and I love the cool breeze it is sending through the house. I am ready to crawl into my bed and go to sleep.

i love being home today. we have no place we have to be and am still in my jammies. we are sluffing stake conference. i guess we should go, i heard through the grape vine that we are getting a new stake presidency.

Soooooooooooo happy that Mike's exam is over and that our lives can move on, they have been a bit on hold.

Thankful to be home. The running is done for the night. Yeah!

off to Neverland

So tomorrow is the big day. Off to Disneyland. I am so excited I can hardly stand it. I just hate the airplane part. The kids will have fun with Dad and Mom gets a nice little break. Now all I need is faith, trust, and a little pixie dust.
