I am so happy that soccer season is over. We have a break form sports until January. That is great with me. The break is well needed and the holidays are upon us.

better outlook

Today is seeming to run a little better. No yelling or fighting this mourning. Well just a little. I know that it is only 8am but the day has a better start then most. I don't have to do anything today but make sure the kids get their homework done. It is nice to stay home sometimes. It is nice to have a break. I seem to do better when I don't have so many things in a day. The last 2 nights we have all been home, it has been so nice. Saturday may be a crazy day but I think I can handle it. I am feeling normal again. That is a very nice feeling. Ahhh, I hope the day stays like this. And my test results came back today. My spider bite came back negative for what ever they tested it for. Yeah. ;)

coming to an end

I am happy that the day is coming to an end. I feel like I got a lot done today and it was pretty quiet until now. A pretty good day.

I am excited that Halloween is over and that the candy will be gone soon. I am excited for Thanksgiving. Turkey dinner is my favorite. Yum, yum.

I am thankful that it is almost time for bed.

Took a nice little nap with Benny today. I just get so tired. Naps are great.

making be feel better

The maids are here. It is so nice, it is forcing me to keep things cleaner and to go through things and get rid of the junk. I can't believe how much junk and papers we have. I like being on this path. I still have a ways to go, but I am not as overwhelmed.

I am happy that my house is cleaner and more organized. It always makes me feel better. I feel like I am making baby steps. Yeah me!

they are here

The maids are here, I am sooooooooooo HAPPY! I am hoping that I am on the road to recovery. Having them come has inspired me to start cleaning and to start to organize. I have a long way to go but at least I am moving forward. Yeah for the Happy Maids.

not so painful

Homework was not to bad tonight. That made me very happy. Benny went to soccer practice willingly, that also made me happy. Things are starting to look up. : )

naps are good

I have been fighting this cold and today I got so tired. I went to lay down after school, I told the kids to work on their homework, they did it. I had to help some when I got up but wow I was so impressed and I really needed that nap. I am feeling better. Sometimes I just need a little sleep and the homework done. Yeah!! : )

Thankful to be home with the kids. We are taking a bit of a break today. We are doing just the basics. I am going to lay down.

Mike's home

It's nice to have Mike home. I missed him. He even went grocery shopping for me tonight and got me some medicine for my cold. What a good husband.

reading with brandon

I have been setting aside time to read with Brandon. It has been nice. Becky and Benny take off on their own, they really don't need my help. Brandon is making huge strides and that makes me happy. I am glade that we can have this time together. Who knows how long it will last.

nap

My love for today is naps and lunch with good company. I am also happy that homework was not as bad today. I feel like things are finally getting better. : )

off to bed

The children are in bed and this makes me so happy. It has been a very long, busy, day. I am finishing up my scrap booking project then off to bed I will be too.

cake is great

I love that today is Brandon's birthday and that he had a great day. I love that we got to eat cake. I am happy that it is almost time for bed. Today was a better day.

happy pills

My new meds are kicking in or it is just in my mind. Any way I am happy that I am starting to feel better. I know the next few weeks will be bumpy but I feel like I can get through it. :o)

I had a nice lunch today with the ladies of London PTA. It was nice to just sit and chat. Good food and good company. Coree Dana Angie Myself and Karen Dana's Mom. We are like one little happy family. Dana and Coree helped me kick out the t-shirt orders, that was such a relief. I think they are some of the greatest friends a girl could ask for.

I did take it easy this mourning but then I got a burst of energy so I got a few things done. That aways makes me happy.

cool day

I am loving this grey weather today. Just makes you want to curl up with a blanket and read or watch TV. It is nice and quiet, the kids are at school. I am feeling much better today.

I'm back, I think, or hope so.

I have been feeling icky lately, I haven't wanted to do much. Today I ran to a few stores and had a good time by myself. I think I might be back.

I am thankful for all that I have. I am thankful to live in a country that is free where I don't have to always be afraid. I am thankful that my husband has a job that he loves and for all the hard work he does for us. I am thankful to have my children when so many can't. I am thankful for my home where some have nothing. I am thankful for the gospel that gets me through each day and brings me hope when I feel knocked down. I have so many blessings. I am just thankful on this somber day. May we always remember what is important.

Shopping with Becky was fun tonight, just the girls. I hope she will always want to hang out and not be to embarrassed of me. I am happy when she is happy.

Taqueria Salsa

I had a nice quiet dinner with my hubby. It was nice to get out and nice to have the quiet. We love this Mexican restaurant Taqueria Salsa. When Grandma and Grandpa where her last summer they loved it to. I think we went 3 times. Yummy.

Alas the day is here. I got the monkeys off to school. No one wanted to be walked in, just dropped off. (mom we don't need you) Becky didn't even want me to go close to the school. How is that for leaving the nest. All 3 had a great day and they love their teachers. I spent the mourning at the school helping at Kindergarten orientation. I was told I was high profile and that the PTA was counting on me. I am glad that I am not the Pres this year, I am happy to help. I just don't want to get sucked in and spend all my time at the school. I feel like I need to help some at Becky's school even if she doesn't want me to be there. I will hide from her. There are 1100 kids at the middle school, crazy. I hope to get some things done while they are at school. I am going out to lunch on Wednesday with some PTA friends. I love to go out. I am happy that the kids are back at school and not as worried.

dinner for two

Mike loves Salmon. He made this fabulous dinner for the two of us. The kids hate it so they got hot dogs. Boy are they missing out.

Kids are back on school bed time schedule. Yeah. the house is nice and quiet. We had a nice family day today. Mike gave each of the kids a back to school blessing. It was really nice and they were all quiet for each other. Peace is a wonderful thing.

fat nap

I got a big fat nap today. That made me happy. Mike and I went on a date, I always like to go out to dinner. Yummy food. The house wasn't to bad when we got back. We even got to go to Target, my happy place.

splash of color

Quiet time and card making make me happy. Fun new colors also make me Happy! I have just learned how to change the front colors. Yeah for me. I love a splash of color. Thanks girls for inspiring me.

Fixed my labels on Team Monson. That really made me HAPPY. It has been bugging me for a while.

I love the temple and the peace that I feel inside. I am setting a goal to go at least once a month if not more.

little piles and wine

I have started going through my little piles of clutter. I have decided that my kids have way to much crap and I am going to purge when they go back to school. I don't even think they will miss anything. I just need some order and I will be on top on the moon. It has been making me feel better. I just want to get back to my old self and be organized again. I am trying to just take one day at a time. One of my friends gave me some happy juice. It is supposed to give your more energy and it is all natural. I would love it if it would work. The lovely thing about it is my kids think it looks like a bottle of wine. May be it is and that's why I am feeling sooooooo much better.

I am happy that the day is almost over. Glad that my first aide kit was in the van, we needed it at soccer practice. I am so thankful that the nightmare sleepover is over, I am so hoping for a good nights rest. I know that tomorrow will be a better day. The kids are off to bed, finally some quiet. I enjoyed watching Benny practice soccer, there was a nice cool breeze and it was nice to do nothing but just sit. Mike came home early from work so I didn't have to take the other kids to practice. It was a very nice surprise. Ran errands without the kids tonight. Thanks to Mike. Thank you Honey.

My happy place today. The kids had fun playing and we all enjoy all that trans fat, he, he. I have to say that I might enjoy food a little to much. I am also happy when Mike comes home from work. It is just nice to have him home.

Michaels.....

.......my new happy place. I went to Michaels tonight to get some ribbon. I haven't been there in a while. Lots of fun stuff. I can't wait to go back when I have more time to look and to shop. Michaels lifted my spirits. We also had great weather today and it made me very happy. When I think it is time to move away I am reminded by our fabulous weather. I am sure my days are numbered and it will be hot again soon. I will enjoy it while it lasts.

I am happy tonight for Brandon. He has worked very hard at Scouts. Yeah for Brandon. He is my happy thought for today.

Quiet

My happiness today was to do a little scrap booking. It makes me feel good to make progress. I'll take pictures later. It was nice to be with just Becky while the boys were away. It was quiet and no fighting. I need to stop posting and go to bed. I am addicted to blogging.

Went to San Francisco today with the family. Site seeing is always fun and so is great food. Shall we say clam chowder and chocolate, not together.

Went swimming with the kids today. It was nice. They are old enough that I don't need to be right by them. I swam and just watched them play. It was a nice afternoon. I even remembered sunscreen.

Loven Benny's Birthday

I got all my favorites today. Panda Express, Cake, Ice Cream, and Shopping all because of Benny's birthday. That makes for a great day. Benny had a great day too.

Chuck E Cheese

Went to Chuck E Cheese today for lunch for Benny's Birthday. It made me happy because I didn't have to make lunch or clean it up. I could just watch the kids and relax. I wish I could do this more often - the noise.

a good laugh

Mike the boys and I are watching My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I forgot how funny it was. It is nice to laugh. I love that part about it's not like we are different species. What do we have to work out??

1. Target Went there tonight with no kids. Yeah for me.

2. Chick-Fil-A An hour away from me so we don't go that often. Go a lot when in Utah.
