Mike's home

It's nice to have Mike home. I missed him. He even went grocery shopping for me tonight and got me some medicine for my cold. What a good husband.

I have been setting aside time to read with Brandon. It has been nice. Becky and Benny take off on their own, they really don't need my help. Brandon is making huge strides and that makes me happy. I am glade that we can have this time together. Who knows how long it will last.

nap

My love for today is naps and lunch with good company. I am also happy that homework was not as bad today. I feel like things are finally getting better. : )

off to bed

The children are in bed and this makes me so happy. It has been a very long, busy, day. I am finishing up my scrap booking project then off to bed I will be too.

cake is great

I love that today is Brandon's birthday and that he had a great day. I love that we got to eat cake. I am happy that it is almost time for bed. Today was a better day.

happy pills

My new meds are kicking in or it is just in my mind. Any way I am happy that I am starting to feel better. I know the next few weeks will be bumpy but I feel like I can get through it. :o)

I had a nice lunch today with the ladies of London PTA. It was nice to just sit and chat. Good food and good company. Coree Dana Angie Myself and Karen Dana's Mom. We are like one little happy family. Dana and Coree helped me kick out the t-shirt orders, that was such a relief. I think they are some of the greatest friends a girl could ask for.

I did take it easy this mourning but then I got a burst of energy so I got a few things done. That aways makes me happy.

cool day

I am loving this grey weather today. Just makes you want to curl up with a blanket and read or watch TV. It is nice and quiet, the kids are at school. I am feeling much better today.

I'm back, I think, or hope so.

I have been feeling icky lately, I haven't wanted to do much. Today I ran to a few stores and had a good time by myself. I think I might be back.

The up side for today is that it is almost time for my BED.

I am thankful for all that I have. I am thankful to live in a country that is free where I don't have to always be afraid. I am thankful that my husband has a job that he loves and for all the hard work he does for us. I am thankful to have my children when so many can't. I am thankful for my home where some have nothing. I am thankful for the gospel that gets me through each day and brings me hope when I feel knocked down. I have so many blessings. I am just thankful on this somber day. May we always remember what is important.

Shopping with Becky was fun tonight, just the girls. I hope she will always want to hang out and not be to embarrassed of me. I am happy when she is happy.

Taqueria Salsa

I had a nice quiet dinner with my hubby. It was nice to get out and nice to have the quiet. We love this Mexican restaurant Taqueria Salsa. When Grandma and Grandpa where her last summer they loved it to. I think we went 3 times. Yummy.

Alas the day is here. I got the monkeys off to school. No one wanted to be walked in, just dropped off. (mom we don't need you) Becky didn't even want me to go close to the school. How is that for leaving the nest. All 3 had a great day and they love their teachers. I spent the mourning at the school helping at Kindergarten orientation. I was told I was high profile and that the PTA was counting on me. I am glad that I am not the Pres this year, I am happy to help. I just don't want to get sucked in and spend all my time at the school. I feel like I need to help some at Becky's school even if she doesn't want me to be there. I will hide from her. There are 1100 kids at the middle school, crazy. I hope to get some things done while they are at school. I am going out to lunch on Wednesday with some PTA friends. I love to go out. I am happy that the kids are back at school and not as worried.

dinner for two

Mike loves Salmon. He made this fabulous dinner for the two of us. The kids hate it so they got hot dogs. Boy are they missing out.

blessings

Kids are back on school bed time schedule. Yeah. the house is nice and quiet. We had a nice family day today. Mike gave each of the kids a back to school blessing. It was really nice and they were all quiet for each other. Peace is a wonderful thing.

fat nap

I got a big fat nap today. That made me happy. Mike and I went on a date, I always like to go out to dinner. Yummy food. The house wasn't to bad when we got back. We even got to go to Target, my happy place.
